UNC Parking Services

University of Northern Colorado parking rules and regulations are enforced year round. Signs posted at parking lot entrances indicate hours of enforcement and types of permit required for parking in that lot. UNC's Parking lots require a permit 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday. Service spaces, ADA spaces and fire lanes are enforced 24/7.

B Lot Closure

In preparation for next week's groundbreaking ceremony for the new College of Osteopathic Medicine, parking lot B will be closed and unavailable for parking effective 5:00 pm Wednesday, September 25^th. The parking lot will remain closed for the duration of construction activities with a projected reopening date of Fall 2026. While B lot is closed, alternative nearby parking can be found in lots A, C, D, L, and Y.

New Permit Options Available This Year!

We’ve added a new permit option for employees and students who only want a permit for the fall and spring semesters. For most permit types we’ve added an academic year version that’s valid from the purchase date through May 9, 2025. If you won’t be parking on campus during the summer, this permit is a great option for you. When you select your permit, look for “Academic” in the permit type. Full year permits will still be available as “Annual” permits.
